1. Define the geography before you interpret the dashboard
Your firm may describe its service area as Big Lake, Sherburne County, nearby communities or a broader Minnesota market. Those are not interchangeable reporting scopes. The Census identifies Big Lake township as a municipal-town in Sherburne County. A dashboard review should therefore ask whether a city or county label refers to a tracked keyword, a caller’s stated location, a landing-page target, a referral source or something else. A population estimate can help establish the place being discussed, but it cannot establish how many people are searching for a lawyer or how many matters a firm will receive.
Recommended approach
Bring your preferred geographic definitions to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to show how city data, case-type data and source attribution are separated, and decide whether Big Lake and Sherburne County should be reviewed as distinct reporting dimensions rather than combined into one local figure.
