1. Start with Wyoming’s actual service footprint
The U.S. Census Bureau records Wyoming as a municipality in Kent County, Michigan, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 77,353 and a margin of error of 49. That describes the city; it does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, lead volume or revenue. For reputation work, the important question is narrower: which people and matters does your firm actually serve? A firm may serve Wyoming, other Kent County communities, or clients outside the city. Those are different geographic relationships and should not be collapsed into one label.
Recommended approach
Before requesting reviews, list the practice areas, client types and geographic areas you are willing to serve. Review whether your Google Business Profile, website contact details and review-request language accurately describe that coverage. Do not use the city’s population as a reason to promise review growth or infer that a particular legal service is in demand.
