1. Treat Wyoming as a defined service area, not a demand forecast
The Census identifies Wyoming as a municipality in Kent County, Michigan. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 77,353, with a margin of error of 49. That is useful for describing the city and confirming the geographic context, but it cannot prove how many people search for a lawyer, how many firms compete for those searches, or how many Local Services Ads inquiries may occur. A law firm may serve Wyoming alone, Kent County, surrounding communities or another deliberately limited area. Those are different choices, and each can change which calls are appropriate to accept.
Recommended approach
Begin by listing the locations your firm actually serves and the locations it does not. Review whether the desired service area matches your consultation capacity, court or meeting logistics, licensing position and case economics. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description says its management includes practice-area categories and service areas. Ask for a review of those settings rather than treating the city population as a budget or lead forecast.
