1. Define what “ROI” means before reviewing the screen
Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes rankings, calls, leads, case types, forms, intakes, source attribution, reviews and revenue-related information as parts of the measurement picture. Those labels are not interchangeable. A ranking is not a lead, a call is not necessarily a potential new client, and a lead is not a signed matter. For a Westland-serving firm, the first decision is whether Westland should be treated as a distinct geographic view, one part of a Wayne County service area, or a location alongside other Michigan targets. The city’s municipal status and county relationship are measured facts; they do not tell the firm which geographic grouping will be useful.
Recommended approach
Write a short measurement policy before implementation. Define a potential new client, current client, vendor, spam contact, qualified matter, signed matter and revenue event. Decide whether Westland will be reported separately and identify who may change those definitions. Ask Bosseo to show where each definition appears in the dashboard rather than accepting a single topline number.
