1. Start with the geographic relationship, not a population assumption
Warren is a municipality in Macomb County, Michigan. A firm may serve Warren while also accepting matters from elsewhere, but the population record alone does not show where qualified inquiries originate or whether a particular practice area is active in the market. Lead Attribution gives you a way to examine the firm’s own records: the channel, referrer, landing page, device, sessions and intake information associated with a contact. That distinction matters when a Warren page receives visits but another page or channel is associated with consultations or signed matters.
Recommended approach
Decide which geographic labels belong in your reporting before reviewing performance. Separate Warren city from Macomb County and from any broader service area your firm chooses to state. Then review whether those labels are attached to actual inquiries and outcomes, rather than using population as a proxy for demand.
