1. Set the geographic boundary before you set a budget
A Sturgis campaign should distinguish the city from St. Joseph County and from any other area your firm may serve. The Census record identifies Sturgis as a municipality in St. Joseph County; it does not establish that every county resident is a prospective client or that nearby locations produce the same opportunities. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description includes category and geography targeting, including practice-area categories and service areas. That makes geographic definition an operating decision, not a demographic assumption.
Recommended approach
List the locations your firm actually accepts, then separate Sturgis from broader St. Joseph County coverage. Decide whether inquiries from outside the preferred area should be screened, referred or excluded. Review location settings with practice-area settings together so the campaign reflects your capacity rather than treating the city’s population as a forecast.
