1. Set the geographic question before spending
St. Clair city and St. Clair County are not interchangeable. The Census record identifies St. Clair as a municipality in St. Clair County; it does not say that a campaign should cover the entire county, every nearby community or all of Michigan. Your firm may want inquiries from St. Clair city, selected county communities or a broader service area. Those are separate choices. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description identifies category and geography targeting as part of the program. That makes the initial review practical: compare the places your firm is allowed and prepared to serve with the locations you want to advertise. Do not use the city’s population estimate as a forecast of calls.
Recommended approach
Define the service area in writing. Separate St. Clair city from St. Clair County and record any additional Michigan locations your firm wants considered. Then decide which locations should be included, excluded or reviewed later based on eligibility, travel, capacity and case fit.
