1. Set the geographic boundary before building the flow
Your firm may serve Sparta township, the rest of Kent County or a wider Michigan market. Those are different scopes, and a Video Intake path should not silently treat them as interchangeable. The Census record identifies Sparta township and its relationship to Kent County; it does not establish search volume, competition, case demand, language preference, staffing requirements or revenue. Start by deciding which locations your firm actually wants to evaluate. The intake can then ask for location when that information affects eligibility or routing.
Recommended approach
Review whether the intake should distinguish Sparta township from other Kent County locations and from matters outside your service area. Document the response for each geographic category: continue to qualification, invite a consultation, request more information or close the inquiry. Keep the geographic question separate from legal eligibility so the firm does not reject a potentially suitable matter merely because the visitor describes a nearby community differently.
