1. Define the geographic question before reading the board
Roseville is a city in Macomb County, Michigan. That relationship matters because a firm may describe its service area at several levels: Roseville city, Macomb County, a wider metropolitan area or Michigan. Those are not interchangeable. The Census population estimate applies to Roseville city and is eligibility context only. It does not show that residents need a particular legal service or that a page, keyword or campaign produced a client. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard description says the product can show keyword rankings and service-and-city targets, while its broader page refers to case-type and city data. During evaluation, ask how geography is represented in the dashboard and whether the selected target matches the firm’s actual intake territory.
Recommended approach
Create a written geographic definition for each reporting question. For example, distinguish a Roseville-city question from a Macomb County question and from a Michigan-wide ranking question. Do not combine them in one total without labeling the scope. Ask Bosseo to show how the dashboard separates location targets, pages and lead locations, if those fields are available to your firm.
