1. Define the geography before you judge the source
Rockford city and Kent County are not interchangeable reporting labels. The Census record identifies Rockford as a municipality in Kent County, while a law firm may also serve clients from other parts of Michigan or a broader metropolitan area. Lead Attribution should therefore be reviewed against the geography your firm actually accepts and serves, rather than treating every nearby inquiry as a Rockford lead. Bosseo’s public product description says attribution can show a channel, referrer, landing page, device, session detail and attached intake answers. Those fields are useful only when your team agrees what location means: the visitor’s stated location, the service-area page visited, the office or service territory assigned, or another documented field.
Recommended approach
Bring your service-area definitions to the consultation. Decide whether Rockford city, Kent County and broader Michigan inquiries should appear as separate categories. Do not use the city’s population estimate as a proxy for demand or as a reason to expect a particular number of leads.
