Define the geography before reading the numbers
Port Sheldon township and Ottawa County are not interchangeable reporting areas. A firm may serve people in the township, elsewhere in Ottawa County, or a broader Michigan market, but the dashboard should not silently combine those geographies. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes tracking for rankings, calls, leads, case types, cities and source attribution. For your consultation, ask how each geographic label would be assigned and displayed. A Port Sheldon inquiry should not automatically be treated as an Ottawa County result, and a Michigan-wide ranking should not be presented as local township performance. The township’s population estimate is useful when documenting the market boundary you want to inspect. It cannot establish how many people need legal services or how many searches occur.
Recommended approach
Write down the service areas, office locations and practice areas you want reviewed. Ask Bosseo to show which geography belongs to each ranking, call, form and matter record, and identify any records that cannot be assigned confidently.
