1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The Census record identifies Port Huron charter township as a municipal-town in St. Clair County and gives it a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 10,722, with a margin of error of 21. That is a defined local service context, not evidence of legal demand, search volume, competition, leads or revenue. It also does not establish that every visitor lives in Port Huron or that your firm serves every matter in the county. Video Intake should therefore begin with the locations and matter types your firm accepts, rather than with population-based assumptions.
Recommended approach
During consultation, map the actual service boundary: Port Huron, other St. Clair County communities, or a narrower area. Decide which location questions are necessary for eligibility and which would create friction. If location affects ownership or escalation, make that relationship explicit in the intake path and review how an out-of-area visitor is handled.
