1. Start with the service area—not the population number
Paradise township and Grand Traverse County are not interchangeable geographic labels, and neither automatically describes your firm’s market. A firm may serve clients in the township, elsewhere in Grand Traverse County, across Michigan, or in another defined area. The Census record can establish the township’s county relationship and population estimate, but it cannot tell you how many residents need a lawyer or how many people use Google to compare firms.
Recommended approach
Before changing your review program, write down the locations your firm actually serves and the matters you want to attract. Review your Google Business Profile name, address, service area, categories, and public descriptions for consistency with that scope. Treat Paradise as a location to evaluate, not as proof that a particular review target or geographic claim will produce business.
