Start with the geography your firm can serve
The Census record identifies Niles township as a municipal-town in Berrien County, Michigan, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 14,328 and a margin of error of 36. That figure describes the township’s population; it does not establish advertising demand, competition, lead volume, case volume, or revenue. For Local Services Ads, the more useful question is operational: which locations does your firm accept matters from, and where can it provide consultations or representation?
Recommended approach
Treat Niles as the geographic anchor, not as proof that a campaign will produce a particular number of inquiries. During consultation, map the firm’s actual service area against Niles, Berrien County, and any additional locations the firm intentionally serves. Keep the profile, call handling, and qualification rules aligned with those boundaries so an inquiry is not counted as useful merely because it came from a nearby place.
