Start with the right Muskegon footprint
Bosseo’s public programmatic SEO description allows a firm to choose statewide coverage or limit coverage to selected counties. Muskegon city and Muskegon County are not interchangeable geographic targets: a page about the city should not imply service throughout the county, and a county footprint should not be presented as evidence that every municipality is equally relevant. The Census record identifies Muskegon city’s county relationship as Muskegon County and records 37,226 residents for the 2020–2024 ACS five-year period. It does not show where your clients live or where your firm accepts matters.
Recommended approach
Map the places your firm genuinely serves before discussing page count. Decide whether Muskegon County is the appropriate initial boundary, whether a wider Michigan footprint is justified by your actual service area, and which locations should be excluded. Ask Bosseo to explain how the selected geography would be represented without overstating local availability.
