1. Separate Marquette geography from attribution evidence
Your service area and your marketing record are different things. The Census identifies Marquette city as a municipality in Marquette County; it does not establish search demand, competition, legal need, lead volume or revenue. A lead may encounter your firm through a page, referral, direct visit, Local Services Ad or another path. Attribution should therefore preserve the actual journey rather than turn a city name into a conclusion about performance.
Recommended approach
During a Bosseo review, define which geographic labels matter to your firm: Marquette city, Marquette County, Michigan, or another service area you choose to evaluate. Then decide whether those labels belong in intake, reporting, page analysis or matter review. Do not use the city’s population as a substitute for channel evidence.
