1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Leoni township and Jackson County are not interchangeable labels. A firm may serve people in Leoni while also receiving inquiries from elsewhere in Jackson County or from other Michigan communities. Attribution should therefore preserve the actual journey and the firm’s own service-area decisions rather than treating a municipal population estimate as a forecast of cases. Bosseo’s public product description says Lead Attribution can show a lead’s channel, referrer, landing page, device, sessions, intake answers, calls, and outcome. Those fields can help you distinguish where an inquiry originated from where the person lives or where the matter arose.
Recommended approach
Before implementation, define the geographic questions that matter to your practice: whether the intake record should capture service location, incident location, or both; which matters are accepted; and when a lead becomes qualified. Review Leoni-origin inquiries separately from broader Jackson County activity instead of combining them into one local number.
