1. Define the Hazel Park geography before reading the numbers
A dashboard can become misleading when a firm uses “Hazel Park” to mean several different areas. The Census record identifies Hazel Park city as a municipality in Oakland County. That does not make Hazel Park the same thing as Oakland County, the Detroit metropolitan area, Michigan, a household or an individual. If your firm serves clients beyond the city, the reporting discussion should identify the geographic unit attached to each ranking, call, form or matter. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes city data, keyword tracking and source attribution as part of its reporting language, but the exact setup for your firm should be confirmed directly.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how a Hazel Park inquiry would be distinguished from an Oakland County inquiry and from activity elsewhere in Michigan. Decide whether your internal review will use city, county, service area or another defined geography. Do not use the city’s population estimate as a forecast of calls or cases.
