1. Start with the site you actually operate
A hosting review should begin with an inventory, not a promise about speed. Identify the site or sites in scope, the current host, the content management system, the domain registrar, DNS control, SSL arrangements, email records and any third-party services that depend on the domain. If your firm serves Garden City as well as other communities in Wayne County or elsewhere in Michigan, separate the website’s geographic coverage from its infrastructure requirements. The city’s population estimate does not tell you how many people visit the site or which legal services they seek.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to review the current hosting arrangement and document the assets that must remain available during any migration. Decide whether the review covers one website, multiple domains or related subdomains. Do not approve a move until ownership, access and dependencies are clear.
