1. Set the geographic record before interpreting a lead
Eastwood is a census-designated place in Kalamazoo County, Michigan—not a synonym for the county, a metropolitan area or every household and individual in the surrounding market. That distinction matters when you review attribution. A report that labels an inquiry “Eastwood” should not silently be treated as a Kalamazoo County lead, and a county-level result should not be presented as evidence about Eastwood CDP alone. Bosseo’s public Lead Attribution page describes journey records that can include channel, referrer, landing page, device and session detail. The useful local decision is whether those records preserve the geographic information your firm actually needs without overstating what the location data proves.
Recommended approach
Define the service-area labels your firm wants to review before judging performance. Separate Eastwood CDP from Kalamazoo County and any broader area you intentionally serve. Ask how location will be recorded, displayed and interpreted when an inquiry comes from outside Eastwood.
