1. Define what the dashboard is meant to prove
Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page positions the product around a single view of rankings, calls, leads and retainers or revenue. It also describes tracking for keyword positions, Top 3 and Top 10 coverage, SERP features, AI-engine citations, site traffic and inbound calls. Those categories can answer different questions, so your firm should not treat every visible number as the same kind of result. A ranking is not a call. A call is not necessarily a potential new client. A lead is not a signed matter. For a Burton practice, the dashboard conversation should specify whether “local” means Burton, another service area in Genesee County, Michigan more broadly, or a separate geographic target. The Census record confirms Burton’s relationship to Genesee County, but it does not define your firm’s service territory.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate each metric with its definition, source, update behavior and relationship to the next stage of your intake process. Approve a written measurement glossary before relying on the dashboard for budget or practice-area decisions.
