What is Bosseo Video Intake?+
Bosseo presents Video Intake as a guided video survey embedded on a law firm website. Visitors answer questions one at a time, with paths organized around case type and information such as timing and fit. It is an intake tool, not a substitute for a lawyer’s conflict review, legal analysis or engagement decision.
Is Video Intake appropriate for every Big Rapids visitor?+
Not necessarily. Decide which practice areas, locations and inquiry types your firm accepts before building the paths. Big Rapids’ population estimate does not show who needs legal services or which intake design will work, so the decision should be based on your firm’s practice and review process.
Can the questions differ by practice area?+
Bosseo’s public page says each practice area can have its own qualification path. Your firm should still approve the questions, required facts, disclosures and escalation rules for each path, and should confirm what can be configured in the proposed scope.
Where does a completed intake go?+
Bosseo says completed inquiries can be delivered with answers attached and describes delivery to an inbox, CRM and case-management system. Ask Bosseo to confirm the destination, supported connection, field mapping, permissions and follow-up behavior for your actual systems.
Does completing the survey create an attorney-client relationship?+
The website should state clearly that submitting an inquiry does not itself create an attorney-client relationship. Your firm should also explain that the intake is not legal advice and should define how urgent matters are directed for appropriate human attention.
What should we measure before deciding whether to continue?+
Track the stages that matter to your firm: visits to the intake, starts, completions, reviewable inquiries, consultations, referrals, declines and retained matters. Also examine routing accuracy, abandonment and review time. Do not use assumed conversion rates, population figures or vendor examples as your firm’s results.
