Start with the site you already own
A hosting decision should begin with an inventory, not with a promise about speed. Identify the domain registrar, DNS access, current host, content management system, SSL arrangement, email records, backups, analytics and third-party services. Confirm which assets belong to the firm and which are administered by a vendor. Bosseo’s public page says a migration can include files, database, DNS, SSL and email records, but your consultation should establish which of those items apply to your site and who will approve each change. Auburn Hills is a municipality in Oakland County, so define the service geography in your own site and intake records separately from the hosting geography. A city label cannot tell you whether the current infrastructure is adequate.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to review the present hosting arrangement and produce a written inventory of access, dependencies, ownership and migration prerequisites before authorizing a move.
