1. Set the Atlas service boundary before writing questions
Atlas is recorded as a municipal-township in Genesee County, Michigan. That relationship matters when you decide how the intake should describe service territory and when a visitor’s location should trigger review. It does not justify treating every township resident as a prospective client or assuming that one local flow fits every matter. A firm may serve Atlas while also taking matters elsewhere in Michigan, or it may use different eligibility rules by practice area. Video Intake supports question paths organized around practice areas and can capture location as part of the qualification conversation, but the appropriate boundaries must come from your firm.
Recommended approach
List the locations, matter types and jurisdictional limits your attorneys actually review. Then decide whether Atlas should appear as a selectable location, a service-area question or a routing condition. Do not use the Census estimate as a forecast. Use the consultation to review the wording and the consequences of each answer.
