1. Set the geographic boundary before building pages
Ash is a municipal-town in Monroe County, Michigan. That relationship matters because a page about Ash township is not automatically a page about all of Monroe County, every nearby community, or Michigan as a whole. A useful review should compare the places your firm actually serves with the places named on your website. It should also distinguish an Ash-specific page from a county-level service page and from a statewide practice explanation. The Census population estimate for Ash—7,941 in the 2020–2024 ACS 5-year record—can describe the municipality, but it cannot tell you whether residents are looking for a lawyer or whether a particular practice area has viable demand.
Recommended approach
Document the geographic scope for each priority service. Decide whether Ash should have its own useful explanation, appear within a Monroe County service structure, or be covered by a broader Michigan page. Make that decision from your client-service boundaries and page usefulness, not from population alone.
