1. Start with the geographic definition, not a population claim
The Census record identifies Whitman town and its county relationship as Plymouth County. It does not identify which communities your firm serves, which matters you accept, or which searches produce consultations. Those distinctions matter because a dashboard can become misleading when a firm treats Whitman, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, a metropolitan area, households and individuals as interchangeable. A rank or lead attributed to one geographic scope should not be presented as evidence about another. During evaluation, ask Bosseo to show how service-and-city targets would be named, how county or statewide targets would be separated, and how the firm would review contacts whose location is unclear.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic list to the consultation. Separate Whitman town from Plymouth County, Massachusetts-wide work and any metropolitan-area targeting. Decide which geography belongs in each reporting view before judging performance. Do not use the town’s population estimate as a forecast or denominator for demand.
