Set the service area around the cases you actually accept
Google Local Services Ads can be managed around practice-area categories and service zones. For an Oxford firm, that means distinguishing Oxford CDP from the broader Worcester County relationship and from any other Massachusetts communities the firm serves. The Census record identifies Oxford as a CDP and places it in Worcester County; it does not establish that the whole county belongs in an advertising target. A broad radius may create inquiries your intake team cannot serve, while a narrow setting may omit communities that fit your matters. The decision should follow licensure, office capacity, travel expectations and the firm’s actual acceptance policy—not the population estimate alone.
Recommended approach
Bring a written list of accepted case types, excluded matters and serviceable Massachusetts locations to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to review geographic coverage and practice-area targeting together, then define what a qualified inquiry means for each selected category.
