1. Start with Oxford’s actual geography, not a guessed market
Oxford CDP is the geographic entity identified in the Census record, and Worcester County is the recorded county relationship. The population estimate describes residents of that CDP; it does not establish the size of your service area, the number of prospective clients, competition, search behavior or the types of matters people may need. Those distinctions matter when you interpret attribution. A journey associated with an Oxford landing page is not automatically an Oxford resident, and a person who contacts an Oxford-serving firm may have arrived through a different location or service page.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing performance, define the geographic labels your firm actually uses: Oxford, Worcester County, Massachusetts, and any other service areas you intentionally serve. Decide whether reporting should distinguish a visitor’s landing-page geography from the person’s location and whether intake should record the matter’s relevant location. Use Lead Attribution to inspect those paths rather than treating the Census population as a forecast.
