1. Set the geographic question before you interpret a lead
Orange is recorded as a municipal town in Franklin County, Massachusetts. A firm may serve people in Orange, elsewhere in Franklin County, or across Massachusetts, but those are different geographic questions. A town-level inquiry should not automatically be treated as evidence about the county, and a Franklin County inquiry should not be presented as Orange demand. The Census population estimate establishes the place and its recorded county relationship; it does not establish how many people seek legal help, which practice areas they need, or how many will contact a firm.
Recommended approach
Decide which geography belongs in each attribution view. For example, you may want to distinguish an Orange landing page from a Franklin County page, a Massachusetts-wide page, and a referral that has no useful geographic signal. Ask Bosseo to show how those distinctions would appear in the journey record and how your team would prevent a broad Massachusetts inquiry from being counted as an Orange result.
