1. Define what a Framingham result means before reviewing ROI
A local number can become misleading when its geography is unclear. Framingham city is a municipality in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. Your firm may serve people in Framingham, elsewhere in Middlesex County or beyond, but those are different geographic scopes and should not be combined casually. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its reporting can show case-type and city data, as well as tracked service-and-city targets. That makes geographic definitions an important acceptance question: does a city label mean the caller’s location, the page that generated the contact, the requested service location or another field? The Census population estimate describes the city’s residents; it does not demonstrate that a particular practice area has demand there.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how Framingham, Middlesex County and any broader service area would be separated in the dashboard. Agree in writing on the geographic fields you will use for planning, and keep population context separate from marketing outcomes.
