1. Start with the firm’s actual bottleneck
Bosseo’s public Custom Software page describes tools built around a law firm’s workflow rather than an off-the-shelf product. Examples include client status portals, intake tools, internal dashboards and referral fee trackers. For a Dover firm, the first question is not how many people live in the town. The relevant question is where your staff lose time across the matters you handle, wherever those matters originate. A firm serving Dover alone may need a different workflow from one serving clients throughout Norfolk County or Massachusetts. Population is not a proxy for cases, leads or revenue, so it should not be used to justify a build.
Recommended approach
Write down one recurring manual task in plain English. Note who performs it, what starts it, what information is copied, where it stops and what happens when someone is unavailable. Bring that description to a Bosseo consultation. A decision not to build is reasonable if an existing product already handles the need without burdensome workarounds.
