1. Start with the Abington geography you actually serve
A location label can conceal an important measurement problem. Abington is a census-designated place in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. If your firm markets to Abington, decide whether “Abington” means the CDP, the county relationship, a service area that includes nearby places, or a particular campaign target. Those are different geographic concepts. The dashboard page describes city-level and case-type reporting, but the public description does not establish which local boundaries will be configured for your firm.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic definition to the consultation. Ask how a city, county, service area and statewide target would be named in reports, and how you would distinguish an Abington contact from a contact elsewhere in Plymouth County. Treat the Census population figure as context only. Do not use it as a forecast of calls, matters or revenue.
