1. Set the Waldorf geography before reading the numbers
The Census record identifies Waldorf as a CDP in Charles County, Maryland. That distinction matters because a firm may describe its service area using Waldorf, Charles County, Maryland or another territory, while a dashboard may use city, county, page or campaign labels. Those are not interchangeable. The population estimate of 82,943 describes the Waldorf CDP during the 2020–2024 ACS period; it does not establish how many people need legal help, search for counsel or become clients. Before reviewing a report, ask which geographic field is attached to each ranking, call, form and matter. A Waldorf page, a Charles County page and a statewide keyword should not be merged into one unexplained total.
Recommended approach
Bring your preferred geographic definitions to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to show how a Waldorf inquiry would be distinguished from a Charles County inquiry and from a Maryland-wide interaction. Keep the dashboard’s geography explicit in partner reviews so an increase in activity is not mistaken for an increase in signed matters.
