1. Start with the Lake Shore geography you actually serve
Lake Shore is recorded as a census-designated place in Anne Arundel County. A firm may serve Lake Shore alone, the wider county, Maryland or additional metropolitan areas, but those are different geographic scopes. The dashboard page describes tracking for service-and-city targets and says city data can inform decisions. That makes geographic definition an implementation question: which place names, service areas and practice areas belong in the firm’s measurement plan? The population estimate describes the CDP; it does not establish how many people need legal help or how many will contact a firm.
Recommended approach
Before evaluating a dashboard view, write down the geographic scope for each practice area. Ask Bosseo how Lake Shore and Anne Arundel County would be represented, what other locations would be included, and whether the reporting separates those areas rather than combining them into a single total.
