1. Start with the geographic area your profile is meant to serve
Your firm may serve Baltimore city, Baltimore County, or a wider Maryland area. Those are different geographic decisions. The Census record identifies Baltimore city as a municipality and records its county relationship as Baltimore city; it does not establish the reach of your practice or the area represented by your Google Business Profile. A review program should therefore begin with your actual service area, office location, practice restrictions and the matters you want to attract. Do not treat the city’s population estimate as evidence that a particular practice area has demand or that more reviews will produce a specific number of calls.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to evaluate whether the proposed review activity and reporting distinguish Baltimore city from Baltimore County and other Maryland locations relevant to your firm. Confirm which profile is in scope, whether multiple eligible profiles exist, and how geographic coverage will be interpreted when reviewing inquiries.
