1. Set the geographic boundary before interpreting the numbers
Aspen Hill CDP is recorded within Montgomery County. That distinction matters when your firm serves Aspen Hill, nearby communities, the county, or a wider Maryland market. A location label in a report does not by itself explain whether a call came from an Aspen Hill resident, a Montgomery County searcher outside the CDP, or someone seeking service elsewhere in Maryland. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says the system can show city data, service-and-city keyword targets, calls, leads and source attribution. Those categories are useful only when the geographic definitions behind them are explicit.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how your firm would define Aspen Hill, Montgomery County and any broader Maryland targets in the reporting. Decide whether the dashboard should separate location-specific visibility from countywide or statewide activity. Do not treat the Census population estimate as a forecast of searches, cases, leads or revenue.
