1. Define what “Arbutus” means in the dashboard
The available Census record identifies Arbutus as the Arbutus CDP in Baltimore County, Maryland. A dashboard decision should preserve that distinction. Arbutus, Baltimore County, the Baltimore metropolitan area, Maryland, households and individuals are not interchangeable reporting scopes. If your firm serves more than one of those areas, a combined number could obscure which geography a call or lead actually concerns. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says the product can show rankings for tracked service-and-city targets and asks questions such as which cities produce calls. It does not establish that every possible geographic structure, naming convention or boundary will be configured for your firm.
Recommended approach
Before approving a dashboard, agree on the geographic labels you want to see: Arbutus, Baltimore County, another municipality, a metropolitan area or statewide coverage. Ask how a lead is assigned when a caller mentions a location different from the page they visited. Require the accepted definition in writing so a location total is not mistaken for evidence of demand or market size.
