Does AI Answering replace our front desk?+
Bosseo’s public description says it does not replace the team-first ring. Calls go to your people first, and the AI steps in when nobody answers within 20 seconds. Review the proposed forwarding arrangement with Bosseo against your current phone setup.
What can the system capture?+
The public product description says it can guide a caller through the situation and capture case type, timeline, and contact information. It also describes a transcript, case summary, caller information, and a classification as Potential New Client, Current Client, or Other.
Can it handle calls outside office hours?+
Bosseo describes coverage for nights, weekends, holidays, and overflow. Your consultation should determine how those categories apply to your firm’s phone arrangement and what information the caller should receive.
How should we handle urgent matters?+
Define urgency for your practice before configuration. Bosseo says urgent information can be surfaced in the transcript and summary. Your firm still needs to assign a reviewer and decide the appropriate human follow-up.
Will it answer questions about our Topsham service area?+
Bosseo’s public page says the system can be configured with a firm profile, practice areas, office locations, hours, parking, and consultation process. Give Bosseo the exact language your firm approves for Topsham, Sagadahoc County, Maine, and any other service areas.
What should we measure before deciding?+
Review your current unanswered-call process and compare it with the records Bosseo describes: transcripts, summaries, classifications, case-type tags, callback ownership, and dispositions. Do not use Topsham’s population estimate as a forecast of calls, leads, cases, or revenue.
