1. Define the geography before reading the numbers
Bosseo’s public dashboard description refers to service-and-city targets, city data and state-wide keyword coverage. New Gloucester is recorded as a municipal town in Cumberland County. Those are different geographic frames: a New Gloucester target is not automatically a Cumberland County target, and neither is the same as a broader Maine target. A dashboard review should make each location explicit rather than treating every impression, call or ranking as local to New Gloucester. The town’s 5,766-person ACS estimate is useful for identifying the place being discussed, but it cannot prove that residents are searching for a particular legal service or that a marketing channel will produce matters.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how New Gloucester, Cumberland County and any wider Maine coverage would appear separately. Decide which geographic labels your intake team will use, how nearby locations will be distinguished, and whether a lead is assigned to a location based on the search, the caller, the landing page or another rule.
