1. Define what “ROI” means before you read the dashboard
A dashboard cannot resolve an undefined business question. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says the product brings rankings, calls, leads, case types, forms, intakes, source attribution, reviews and revenue signals into one view. Before relying on any tile, ask what the number represents, who classifies it and which event changes it. A Kittery firm may need to distinguish a contact from a potential new client, a potential client from a signed matter, and a marketing source from the page or channel that introduced the contact. The town’s relationship to York County also matters: decide whether the firm wants to evaluate Kittery alone, York County, or a broader service area. Do not treat Kittery’s population estimate as a forecast of cases or revenue.
Recommended approach
Bring your current definitions for lead, qualified matter, signed case, source and revenue to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to show how those definitions would appear in the dashboard and which fields remain subject to firm review. Accept a metric only when its meaning, owner and decision use are clear.
