1. Define what “Cumberland” means for your campaign
The Census record identifies Cumberland as a municipal town and places it in Cumberland County. Your LSA geography should therefore be discussed precisely: Cumberland town is not the same thing as Cumberland County, the wider Portland metropolitan area, or all of Maine. A campaign that covers only the town may differ materially from one that accepts inquiries from surrounding communities. Bosseo’s public LSA page says its program includes category and geography targeting, with service areas set deliberately around the case types and locations a firm wants.
Recommended approach
Before discussing budget, write down the locations your firm accepts, the locations it does not accept, and whether those boundaries differ by practice area. Ask Bosseo to show how those choices would be represented in the profile and how out-of-area inquiries would be identified. Do not use Cumberland’s population estimate as a forecast of calls.
