Start with the site you actually operate
A hosting review should begin with an inventory, not a generic comparison. Identify the website platform, domains, DNS records, SSL configuration, databases, forms, analytics, redirects, media files and any other services that must remain available. A law firm serving Bucksport may also serve clients elsewhere in Hancock County or beyond; the town’s population estimate—5,016 in the 2020–2024 ACS five-year data—is not a measure of website demand, legal need or future case volume. It is simply geographic context for defining the service area and reviewing whether the current site structure reflects the firm’s actual scope.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to document what would move, what would stay with another provider and who would approve each change. Treat the current environment as the baseline for the decision rather than assuming that a dedicated server is automatically necessary.
