1. Start with Zachary’s actual service geography
A location label can hide important distinctions. Zachary is recorded as a city in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Your firm may serve the city, the parish, or a wider Louisiana area, but those are different geographic questions. Attribution should therefore preserve the location context your firm uses when reviewing an inquiry rather than treating every Louisiana visit as a Zachary matter. Bosseo’s public Lead Attribution page describes channel, referrer, landing page, device, session detail and attached intake answers. Those fields can support a review of whether a Zachary-related inquiry came through a relevant page or another path.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic labels your team will use before judging performance. At minimum, decide how staff will distinguish Zachary, East Baton Rouge Parish and other Louisiana service areas in intake records. Then ask Bosseo to explain how those labels would be represented alongside each journey. Do not use the city’s population as a forecast of inquiries or cases.
