Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The U.S. Census Bureau records Youngsville as a city in Lafayette Parish. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 17,427, with a margin of error of 24. That is geographic context, not evidence of legal demand, search volume, competition, lead volume or revenue. For attribution, the important decision is how your firm defines a service area: Youngsville alone, Lafayette Parish, or a broader area that you intentionally serve. A source record should not be treated as proof that a person is a Youngsville resident, and a Youngsville landing page should not automatically receive credit for every inquiry associated with the parish.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing performance, agree on the geographic labels that matter to the firm. Ask whether location should be captured from the landing page, the prospective client’s intake answer, the matter record, or another verified business field. Keep Youngsville city and Lafayette Parish distinct when reviewing results.
