1. Decide when the AI should answer
Bosseo’s public AI Answering description says calls go to the firm’s team first and that the AI steps in when nobody answers within 20 seconds. It also describes coverage for nights, weekends, holidays, and overflow. That team-first arrangement matters when a Timberlane-serving firm already has a receptionist, intake coordinator, or attorney taking calls during selected hours. The decision is not simply whether to use an answering system; it is which unanswered-call conditions should trigger it. Review office hours, lunch periods, court days, planned closures, and any existing forwarding rule. Do not treat Timberlane’s population estimate as evidence that your firm needs more coverage. Measure your own unanswered calls instead.
Recommended approach
Map your current ring sequence and define the permitted handoff points. Ask Bosseo to show how an unanswered call reaches the AI and how your team knows that the AI handled it.
