1. Define the Patterson footprint before counting pages
Patterson is a city in St. Mary Parish, not a synonym for the parish, the entire Louisiana market, or a metropolitan area. That distinction matters when you evaluate a page inventory. A Patterson page may be relevant to a firm serving the city. A St. Mary Parish footprint requires a separate decision about which communities and services the firm actually accepts. A statewide footprint is a different commercial and editorial commitment again. Bosseo’s public page says the product can be scoped to a whole state or to counties selected by the firm. It also describes a page model based on the firm’s legal services and cities in its chosen footprint. The Census estimate can help identify the geographic entity being discussed, but it cannot tell you how many people search, how many competitors exist, or whether a page will produce a case.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to map Patterson and any intended St. Mary Parish coverage separately from other Louisiana locations. Approve a city only when the firm can serve inquiries there and can provide location-appropriate information. Keep the proposed footprint distinct from measured performance until the site has data.
