1. Start with the Natchitoches geography you actually serve
The Census record identifies Natchitoches city and its relationship to Natchitoches Parish. Those are distinct geographic descriptions, and a firm may make different decisions about city residents, parish coverage, Louisiana-wide service areas or nearby markets. A dashboard should therefore make the tracked geography explicit rather than allowing a broad “local” label to obscure which service-and-city targets are being measured. Population is useful as context for the place, but it is not evidence that residents are searching for a particular practice area or that a campaign will produce matters.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels would be defined in the dashboard for your firm. Decide whether a reported result should be grouped by Natchitoches city, Natchitoches Parish, another Louisiana location or a wider service area. Do not approve a measurement plan until the geography in the report matches the geography in your marketing decision.
