1. Define the geography before judging the numbers
The Census record identifies Jefferson CDP, Louisiana, and its relationship to Jefferson Parish. Those are not interchangeable geographic labels. A dashboard review should therefore distinguish Jefferson from parish-wide activity and from any broader Louisiana or metropolitan reporting area your firm uses. Bosseo’s public page describes tracking for service-and-city targets and says the dashboard can show which cities produce calls. That makes geographic definitions a central acceptance question, not a cosmetic label. A call from someone in Jefferson, a page targeting Jefferson, and a matter assigned to a wider service area may be three different records.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location is represented in rankings, calls, forms, leads and matters. Agree in writing on the place names, county or parish relationship, and wider areas that should be reported. Do not treat the Census population estimate as a forecast of cases or inquiries. Treat it as a reason to keep the geography precise.
