1. Define the Inniswold geography before reading the numbers
A dashboard can show location-related performance only if the location definition is explicit. Inniswold is a CDP, and its recorded county relationship is East Baton Rouge Parish. Those are not interchangeable labels. A firm may want to distinguish an Inniswold target from a wider parish, Baton Rouge-area, or Louisiana service area, but the appropriate boundary depends on the firm’s actual intake and marketing decisions. Do not treat the ACS population estimate as a forecast of prospective clients. Instead, ask how the dashboard will display service-and-city targets, calls, leads, and source pages when one firm serves several geographic areas.
Recommended approach
During the review, request a written geography definition for each tracked target. Confirm whether the firm wants Inniswold reported separately, how parish-wide inquiries are handled, and whether a lead’s location is based on the caller, the landing page, the intake record, or another documented field.
