1. Define the geography before reviewing ROI
The dashboard should make geographic scope understandable. Gray is a CDP, and the cited Census record places it in Terrebonne Parish. Those are not interchangeable labels: a Gray target, a Terrebonne Parish target and a statewide Louisiana target represent different reporting questions. Population also describes residents, not households, searches, prospective clients or matters. Ask Bosseo to show how a location appears in the proposed tracking and how your firm can separate Gray from other places it serves. The review should also identify whether a reported call, lead or matter is assigned to a place by the page reached, the caller’s stated location, an intake field or another definition.
Recommended approach
Adopt written geographic definitions before accepting a report. Require separate labels for Gray, Terrebonne Parish and any wider Louisiana coverage, and do not treat the Census population estimate as a forecast of marketing return.
